Delhi Set For Grand Arch

Plans for a new and exclusive private township in Gurgoan, part of the Indian city of Delhi has been given the go ahead.

The project named Ireocity, located at the junction of Golf Course Road and Sector 58 the 500 acre will be developed by IREO Management PVT LTD and will be made up of four 30 storey towers and a signature tower not so originally named the Grand Arch which will stand at 22 storeys.

The towers sport a modern minimalist look, box like in form and constructed from white concrete featuring glazed window units. In various places on the towers sunscreens jut out from the towers and along with the slightly stepped peaks add interest to the towers appearance.

The main focal point of the project will be the 22 storey Grand Arch which is as the name suggests a square arch shaped tower which will stand in the centre of the project flanked by the other towers. Simplistic in appearance it uses the same materials as the surrounding towers. The front and back facades feature sunshades whilst the sides are punctuated with balconies arranged in an offset manner giving the tower texture.

The arch will house luxury living spaces many of which will be four side open apartments that will offer residents panoramic views of the site and the nearby Aravali Hills. The other towers will be mixed used providing residential space, offices a hospital, schools, hotels, shopping centres along with theatre and exhibition spaces.

The site will also offer a first for a private town in India - a network of skywalks will connect all of the towers allowing pedestrians a safe way to navigate around the site away from traffic, for added safety they will be patrolled by security patrols.

The towers will stand in fully landscaped grounds with many water features to provide a relaxing ambience to the project. Residents and visitors can look forward to a range of amenities aimed at the young and old alike such as swimming pools, tennis courts, childrens play areas, jogging tracks, walking tracks, foot massage stones and shaded seating areas to name but a few.
